SORROW IN THE WORLD BOXING
COUNCIL
The World Boxing
Council is announcing today that the organization will observe a day of mourning
for the passing away of the wife of one of its members, Major Lee, of
South Korea.
Mrs.
Lee passed away yesterday February 7th, 2010. Major Lee has been a member of the
World Boxing Council Board of Governors since 1981 and was awarded the “WBC
Lifetime Achievement Award” by our organization.
From our head offices, we present our
deepest condolences to our friend and we hope he soon recovers from this painful
situation he is going through.
